Run Dat
I have been trying to get in shape since fall. I started with running with my ex-girlfiend, because she runs every single morning. I have plenty of kicks, not to many running shoes though. I purchased the Cortez, and they have been worn twice. I like them alot, they are going to get used soon. The 360's have had the most run out of the three. They have so much cushion in them they feel to damn bouncy. I just feel that the Nike Free's are a better feel and fit for me for running. So, I scooped up the Nike Rejuven8's to see how they felt. I got my hands on some, I know I'm the first person to rock them. I've been in Nike in Concord Mills to Finishline in Eastland Mall, and nobody that works at those stores has seen them up close. Now since I've been wearing them, they are way to dope to run in. It is tough to work out, diet, and get in shape. I'm having trouble with just getting the gear together to get the best out of the what I'm trying to accomplish. Regardless, of what my friends say, I am trying to work out. Shit, only a hand full of them do anyways. It is just tough to get started.

The Gatekeepers
Part 1
Part 2
When I first watched this a week ago, I had this weird flash back of when I worked in the Charlotte bar scene. Most folks know I worked at Alley cat, apart of the door staff for about two years. I took a second to reflect on the time I spent in uptown Charlotte's so called nightlife. I will say that a part of me miss some of the friends I had at the Cat. More of the security than anything, I mean we had each others back when it got busy from level 1 to level 20. I will stay away from the inside the robes part of alley cat this go around. I will stay on subject about the door. It amazed me every weekend just the dumb stuff I had to encounter with club goers. My pet peeves at the door were way to many to list, hell I can't even remember them all. I will say one thing it was a alright time when I was there and super glad I'm not there anymore. I do miss most of all the homies of "snatch crew", the patio platoon, a few doorgirls, and the boss and manager. I will say this from what I know these guys are in New York City that is a whole different level of beast. To be a doorman at a nightclub in NYC is most likely the most insane thing, I would never want any part of that shit. Here's a little insight in the two gentleman's lives.
And oh yeah.."NO SUNGLASSES IN THE CLUB!!"
CLOWNIES, HERBS, LAMES, MARK ASS MARKS, TRICK ASS MARKS..
That goes for women too.
Tighten Up..you fucks.

Free-Tow-Lay
I worked for Frito-Lay for a while a few years back.
Since then I have had a little hate for the products they produce.
Steve sent me this video it made me laugh.
Also shed a tear because that job use to break me off,
money was straight but went home every night worn down.
For all of my folks about ready to fuck up their boss.
Stay Focused..Stay Up.

Bullyshit
This honestly had tears rolling down my eyes, I cannot get enough of the techniques of stopping a bully. The "hit and run" concepts are something awesome.
The "You got something on your shirt!" and Kareem's 10 sec cameo.lol

Get Cha Boy
This past Sunday, Dom and I are at the bar downstairs
in the lobby in the Hyatt in downtown Atlanta. Like everybody else at the bar/grill was watching the later games on football Sunday. Dom is having a beer, I had a few Sprite sodas that had my bladder insane. Most of the guests there in the lobby like us had rooms at the Hyatt. All except your boy here. Before I took this photo here, I didn't get the photo of him flossing his teeth. Yeah..flossing..with about a yard worth of floss. I was looking so hard, I forgot to pull the phone out in time to catch the moment.
Then he had his shoes off, while eating something from a place outside the Hyatt Hotel. Which is not a problem, but he didn't have a room there either LMAO. Your boy just walked in and kicked off and his shoes and had his feet up, watched some of the game, ate his food, flossed his teeth, and kicked back like he was at the crib. Finally, He got kicked out by security after about 45 mins.
Dom and I left to roll to Hooters down the street on Peachtree. Yep you guessed it right Your boy was up in there chillin'. Good thing they had ATL finest up in there so He didn't get gangsta with it. Anyways, I thought I'd share that with you.
Do Better..Tighten Up.

Let The Music Play
This is a old complaint of mine since I moved to the south. I never could understand DJs and so called DJs that would conform to the norm. What I mean to conform to the crowd, the girl asking to play her favorite song because today is your birthday. I know way to be selectors and there is only one or two that don't give a fuck, they play for themselves. I'm not sure why people feel the need to bother the DJ anyways. I mean does he come to your job and harass the hell outta you..nope. Still there are a few of you that have started off "for the cause" and eventually bended and conformed to the masses. I know shit, gotta pay bills..but what's next? I don't know, you know who you are, I'll will continue to go to the spots ONLY when certain DJ's are spinning. I know what I'm getting out of it, and he may but me on something. If they asks for Gucci Mane, tell you don't have it, shit don't say oh I'll play it soon. They are just going to keep up to the booth until you play it.
Stanky leg, Jill Scott, Mary J, Right said Fred, who the fuck ever, they will bug the shit outta you for the song. After a man clearly old enough to my Dad or uncle had the nerve to ask my homie that was DJ playing Stevie Wonder "As" to complain about the music??!! Stevie Wonder..yes a older black man complaining about Stevie Wonder? I know there are a few artist, black artist you can't say SHIT about. James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Prince, just off the top of my head. I mean how you gonna complain and ask to play something so he can get closer to some lady he was dancing with? Um..has he ever heard the song "As"?? What he want Khia's "My Neck My Back" shit?!
So DJs feel that pressure to play what the crowd wants. Which is okay, but to a point you gotta draw the line. I feel ya about a clear dance floor, nobody wants that empty feeling. Hey I watched the youtube video that Puffy put a message out to all DJs around the world. The message was simple.."have the heart to CLEAR the dance floor." I mean coming from Puffy was a shock, but it was good and I was impressed. I had lost faith in Sean a long time ago, but he got a little of my respect back again on that one. Fuck the radio they don't know shit. It always starts from the underground first.
Play good tunes, and, earn a stripe.
Play bullshit, and lose 50 stripes..seen?

It took everybody a while to see what you were about.
After all what has happened nothing has changed you.
I can see you are trying to band 2gether
your only support against us.
No matter.
This is what happens when you try to gang up on us.
You'll catch a bad one.
