I mean you gotta be on your game nowadays. Omar and I was leaving SouthPark from a little lunch at CheesyCake(Cheesecake Factory). A older lady had ran on the curb and got her front bumper hooked on the curb and she was worried about getting it took the fuck off. So Omar and I help her without ripping the rest of it off..then we walk to the car and I looka at this H2 Hummer beside Omar's Jetta..and then..DAMN!
I look at this rim looking dead at me..looked huge as hell. So I check the tire size..315/30?? Wait 30inches..damn like how the fuck you find a tire that big..like I see that shit had no rubber on that shit. I see why some girls be on some bullshit..dude I got 17's stock on my shit..but that shit ain't 30. Anyways..not my steez anyways..but I know "Hammers" was the shit then 20 you were killing it..now 30!! What's next 40..50??? I'm just gonna get me a magic carpet..kill all of yall.

Black Sheep SkateShop "SKATE OR DIE" release.

Yes, Charlotte has finally caught on to the sneakergame that cities around the world have doing since..well..well awhile now. I remember back in the day we were skipping school to get the Jordan's back in the late 80's early 90's. Now It's the Nike SB releases I think this is the 3rd installment of campouts for Camden..and we still kind of bug out on it. The first camp out was the "3 Bears"..then "MF DOOM"
now the "skate or die" dunks. Just hard when you waited for hours on hours then your size is gone..that's pretty wack. So Josh called me to come take some photos and check it out. It was such a ugly day cold and rainy but we had some troopers in effect. Make it so bad I guarantee people will call for the next 6 months for these shoes..Johnny Come Latelies. So it was a rough night at the club last night, so I drag myself outta bed, shower, eat, and head to Camden around 10:35am.

All in all it was a interesting morning..had a couple of laughs with the boys, some Dunkin' Donuts that Frazier bought for those that camped out. I'm just glad I'm not that way about kicks anymore that I feel I had to camp outside, miss class, or whatever to get a sneaker. Those days are over with for a while..
that's why I'm lucky that I have friends that have the stores..so I don't have too.

Back to The Prom

Well, soon as I touched down in Charlotte..I made a couple of calls and text to friends to let them know I arrived home safely. First thing was "how was it?" "When you updating the blog?" My response was "um..maybe Tuesday or weds." That was not acceptable to them..so I'm updating it now.
Well, where do I begin? I almost didn't make the trip because..in a way I didn't want to go. I got a message from Rex(Rogue Status)and Brett(Estate LA)like you need to come out and hang out. Plus, Henry and Shane was on me about coming too.(thanks guys).So I got things together(Thanks Mom Love You)and was on my way. Well I flew out with Kevin, AC, and Shane..Bobby and Adam was on a different flight..Aaron and Henry came later that day. I don't know if I wanna go into everything..because It was for 4 days..thats just way to much to type. I was going for Magic Fashion Tradeshow to meet up with the Rogue and Estate boys and that's that. I got taken care of with me getting in and everything at Magic. Magic was very awesome and interesting at the same time..was alot to take in..I understood what I needed to see moving forward as far is Fashion nowadays...so much going on in one place. I didn't make to PROJECT or POOL Tradeshows but okay..next time.

Well, everybody I met and talked to was great..Greg Carroll(Empire Dist), Mega(Huf, Black Scale)was a personal highlight. House of Commons, Undefeated, Fruition, Thoroughbredz, and Cloth and Canvas stores were very nice and helpful letting us know where the parties were at, other stores, where to eat...everybody was awesome. I apologize for misjudging Jereme Rodgers..I was standing next to Shawn(Active)and He stuck his hand out and said "what up homie"..again awesome dude. Oh yeah while I was at the Sprite counter waiting for a drink..the Mighty Mos Def jumps on Stages and performs..I didn't have my camera..so sorry..but It was dope trust. I was going to go into everybody ..but naw..I'm not. All in all I had a great time and I'm just going to post the photos and you can get the explanation from there. Okay on to the photos.

I still got sick anyways from Hen, Shane, or just being in Vegas. I had such a great time, and was glad I was with some of my friends. I got to know my friends just a little more, some where good..and some were bad. I got to see true colors of some folks..hmmm..Hey gotta except people for who they are..as long as it's genuine..it's ok.
