The first installment (on August 29th) features "L.A. Proper", a comedy about a multi-ethnic group of friends looking for love, sex, work and happiness during the long days and short nights in Los Angeles. "L.A. Proper" is the winner of the Heineken Red Star Filmmaker Award for Innovation, Originality and Vision. The film has received notice on IFC.com and in Daily Variety.
"L.A. Proper" was written and directed by former Charlottean Barry Canty.
