CAPS & JONES x BLACK SHEEP DJS

The first time I heard of CAPS & JONES was through Chase and Josh Frazier in Black Sheep Skateshop a while ago. Chase somehow through networking got a hold of Brian(one half of)Caps and Jones and got him to swing through the Q.C. and play. Brian was a guest DJ and slid in after Josh and Dieter spining at HOM on this past tues. Good tunes thou the event was changed at the last minute but still had the support of the crew like always. I didn't get there till late, but had fun with the crew. Plus, Shane hooked me up with some crepes..it was so good. Sorry Shane the photos came out to bright..

"Axis of Evil"

Well, I do not collect Vinyl toys, but I like some of them. No way do I have as many as Henry..dude has so many it's crazy. I do have the Kid Robot Madvillian..but that's because it's MF DOOM and Madlib. I got the Madvillian one from Niche a while ago and that's the only one I really wanted. Ok maybe a Futura one on the low if I can find one..they're so nasty. Anyways, I really like this one set that came out this past December. I may not express my political or social views on my blog but, I watched "G-DUB's" State of the Union speech in 2002 when he named Iraq, Iran, and North Korea and accused them of terrorism and "weapons of mass destruction" shit. Things went from bad to worst to what the hell they doing real quick.
Plasticgod & with Super Rad Toys released a new version of "Axis of Evil" updated set of political leaders has includes Tony Blair, George W. Bush, Kim Jong II and Osama Bin Laden and the "Ghost of Saddam". I found the other released version in my search. The version when Sadaam is alive and the one when everybody in old school prison uniforms. I just want to get my hands on these..I think it's ill.

The Whoridas - Talkin About Bank

Classic West Coast Music. Whoridas came out in 1996..I think Too Short brought them out. The WhoRidas "Whoridin'" album was tight as hell..I hate It was so scratched that it doesn't work anymore. I was looking for them when the Myspace YouTube Battles were going on. Steve and I always quote the other song on the album also a favorite of mine.."Shot Callin' Big Ballin'".

Well, I know I've been lagging on this entry, but my photos came out crazy overexposed. So I tried to find some good ones to use and represent people right, because everybody hates bad photos. So anyways, It was cold outside left the crib met up with a couple of the boys at Aaron's(Joneses) house walking distance to the spot. So we leave and it's damn chilly as hell outside, I MEAN DAMN!! I miss spring and fall!! We are up in the place now, it was a great crowd..mad folks came through and hung out tough. I mean I was a little wore out from the handshakes and hugs, the people I know..thats fine and all good..but the people who I didn't know who read my article it was cool but exhausting. It was so good to see the usual suspects and the new faces in the place having fun. Had a Photographer on hand taken photos by the Blu media wall, Free Voss water..um if you was in V.I.P, so I drank about 7 of them.

Black Sheep SkateShop, Niche, Lotus, American Apparel Krews were in the building heavy. I know everybody had a good time, Whiz Kid did his thing in the DJ booth with the jams. A lot of pretty ladies in the place but hell all the women that shop at Lotus what do you expect. Glad to see that Chase, Josh, and AHuf were having a good time too. A.C. had me laughing my ass off by the wall..can't wait for Vegas. Good Times, I will see you guys at the next one, and get ready for the next issue of Blu Mag it'll be a banger. Congrats to Camilla and Nico and everyone that came out and supported.

Quick Ride

It's been about 2 months since I rode my Fixie Bike. So I deciced to hop on it right quick since the sun kind of came out today. I needed to go to Niche anyways to get with Woodie..so off I go. It was a little brisk felt like 50 degrees..oh well I was bundled up good. So this is the scenic route I took through my hood to uptown to camden. I'm not going to bore you with all the photos I took on my ride.
